CHRISTIAN ACTION ALERT

 We recently spent an important weekend remembering the blessed Resurrection of our Lord, Jesus Christ, in churches all across America.  The Resurrection is the foundation of Christianity.  Paul reminds us that, "if the dead do not rise, then Christ is not risen. And if Christ is not risen, your faith is futile." (1 Cor. 15:16-17) Yet, even though Scripture is filled with references that support the bodily, physical resurrection, how many of us doubt that truth?  How many non-believers see this as a stumbling block to faith?

 Would it surprise you to learn that there is concrete, scientific evidence in support of Jesus’ physical Resurrection?

 Dr. R.C. Metcalf has been involved in extensive research regarding this issue for over 10 years.  He has partially completed a book that will open many people’s eyes to the reality of Christ’s Resurrection and our hope for life after death.  Yet, he needs your help to finish this project.  Your support of this effort will help assure a timely release of his next book, tentatively titled Colliding With Christ: The Science of Resurrection.

 In January, Dr. Metcalf wrote a response to Sam Harris’ Letter to a Christian Nation that was released last month and is available through Amazon.com and BarnesandNoble.com.  His book is entitled Letter to a Christian Nation: Counter Point and it offers a respectful and well-reasoned response to Sam Harris.

 Many people have read Sam Harris’ best-seller, and Christians need to be prepared to respond to his arguments in conversation with those they meet in our secular culture.  Many of us were once atheists ourselves, before God “pulled the blinders off.”  Dr. Metcalf’s book provides the resources we need to confidently enter into dialogue with readers of Letter to a Christian Nation.

 What can you do?  

1. Please PRAY that this grassroots effort to stand against the rising tide of militant atheism in America will be successful. This campaign will only succeed through the power of the prayers of His people.
2. Please purchase a copy of Dr. Metcalf’s book. It is a small investment ($12.95) that can reap big rewards for the cause of Christ.
3. Please FORWARD this e-mail to as many Christians as possible. Encourage those who receive it to also forward it to others.

 This e-mail is being delivered to church leaders in all 50 states.  With enough support, we can make a bold statement proclaiming that Christianity is alive and well and here to stay in America.  God-willing, we can replace the distorted view of Christianity presented to the media and the world by Sam Harris and Richard Dawkins (author of The God Delusion) with an accurate view of the true Gospel proclaimed by Jesus and the Apostles.
